Link to a service

To use a service in the Health Business Services (HBS) portal, you need to link to that service.

Some services may have different or additional linking steps. If this applies, you will be given this information before you link. Follow the instructions on the screen. If you need help, contact the relevant service support team.

Link to a new service

To link to a new service:

  1. Select Link service on the HBS Home page
  2. On the Linking a service page, find the service you want and select Link service.
  3. A Consent to share user profile details window will open.

    When you link to a service for the first time, some information from your user profile is shared with that service. This creates your service user profile and allows you to access the service.

    1. Read the relevant Terms of use.
    2. Read the service’s privacy notice.
    3. Select Consent to continue.

    If you select Cancel you will remain on the Linking a service page.

  4. You will return to the HBS home page. The new service will appear in the My services section. A message will confirm that linking is in progress. This may take a few minutes.
  5. Once View service appears on the service tile, select it to open the service home page.
